JOIN US in welcoming Emily Dark as she explores microplastics at June's Lunch and Learn. This presentation is open to the public, preregistration is not required.

Emily Dark, Environmental Specialist with the Indian River Lagoon Aquatic Preserves and Florida Department of Environmental Education, will discuss microplastics and how our use of plastic in everyday activities contributes to their occurance in the environment. Her presentation will also cover potential concerns of microplastics in the environment, information on the Florida Microplastics Awareness Project and current local efforts focused on outreach, education and research.
